"Thank goodness I found CompuReel!  I know this sounds like a canned thank you, but it’s not.  I had a HUGE bag of reel to reel tapes from my Uncle.   He used to record things like Christmas and dinners with the family.   Unfortunately he had passed away a few years ago, and I’d been searching and searching, trying to find someone who would do the entire bag (seriously, almost 50 tapes) and would do it at a reasonable price, do it the way I wanted it and who I could trust to do it right.  I FOUND MIKE!  Not only did I NOT have to send away these precious tapes in the mail, he was the best rate I found AND he recorded everything on an external hard drive, so I can make multiple copies for the entire family!

 I had the first CD of my Uncle at a family event this last weekend, and popped the CD into the player…It was amazing to watch everyone’s faces when they realized who they were listening to.  Believe me, there were a lot of happy tears flowing.  I can’t wait to get the other recordings sent out to everyone!

"Who knew that I needed CompuReel?  Both my parents passed away and one day going through some old boxes I found an 8mm film.  On the outside it said wedding.  I was shocked.  I have never seen photos of my parents wedding and now here was potentially a film of that day.  Mike not only made copies of the film for me and my siblings, he posted it to Facebook and I was able to share it with their grandchildren across the globe.  I now have both photos and the DVD.  What a great way to remember them, so young on one of their happiest days!  I don't know what I would have done with the film if Mike wasn't able to transfer it and now it gives me and my family great joy."
